Terms of Service.

Last updated September 2, 2026

Service description

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and AAA Incubator, LLC, the company that operates BillFighter ("BillFighter," "we," "us").

BillFighter is a service that helps you check bills for errors, prepares dispute and validation letters written from your bill, and, on the In Your Corner package, sends them by USPS certified mail and, when you upload the recipient's reply, prepares and sends one response-driven follow-up letter that you approve.

We provide tools to help you speak up for yourself against billing errors, overcharges, and debt collection practices. The service includes bill analysis, letter preparation, case tracking, and, where purchased, certified mail delivery.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and able to enter into a binding agreement.

Not legal advice

BillFighter is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The information, letters, and analysis generated by our service are tools to help you advocate for yourself. They do not constitute legal counsel.

If you need legal advice regarding your specific situation, we recommend consulting with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction. Nothing in our service creates an attorney-client relationship.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including uploaded bills and personal details used in letter generation.

You agree not to use BillFighter to submit fraudulent claims, fabricate billing disputes, or engage in any activity that violates applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Purchases and billing

BillFighter offers a free tier and two one-time, per-case packages. The free tier (Free Scan) includes up to 3 bill scans per month with a full analysis, the recommended next step, strategy cards, and a generic sample letter; it does not include a letter written from your bill, monitoring, the evidence vault, or mailing.

A case is one dispute with one recipient. Related bills, explanation-of-benefits statements, notices, and responses for that dispute are part of the same case. A different provider, insurer, collector, or account is a new case. Packages are purchased per case and do not transfer between cases.

The Fight Kit ($39, one-time, per case) includes personalized drafts of each applicable letter, three finalized letters (an initial letter, a follow-up, and an escalation or complaint letter where applicable), the mail packet, deadline reminders, and the evidence vault. You print, mail, and manage the correspondence yourself. A fourth or later finalized letter in the same case is available at the posted extra-letter rate ($15). A second Fight Kit cannot be purchased for a case that already has one.

In Your Corner ($99 founding price, then $129; one-time, per case) includes everything in the Fight Kit, up to two USPS certified mail sends by BillFighter (the initial letter and one response-driven follow-up), tracking and delivery evidence, and monitoring while the case is active. Replies from the recipient are addressed to you, not to BillFighter; when you upload a reply, BillFighter reads it and prepares and sends the next letter. Additional certified sends beyond the two included are billed at the posted per-send rate ($29); additional self-mailed letters at the posted extra-letter rate.

The founding price of $99 applies to the first 25 paid In Your Corner cases, after which the standard price of $129 applies. The price charged is the price displayed at checkout.

A case remains active while the dispute is moving: each finalized letter, each send, and each uploaded reply restarts a 90-day activity window. A case with no activity for 90 days becomes read-only ("quiet"); its evidence vault is retained, and the case can be reopened at no charge. No purchase is required to reopen a quiet case.

All package purchases are one-time charges at the price displayed at the time of purchase. They do not renew automatically. We may change posted prices at any time; a change does not affect a package already purchased.

Refunds are handled by email at support@billfighter.com. A Fight Kit purchase is refundable within 30 days of purchase if no letter in the case has been finalized. An In Your Corner purchase is refundable at any time before the first certified send.

BillFighter is licensed for personal, non-commercial use. You may create cases and letters only for yourself and members of your immediate family or household. Using BillFighter to prepare disputes, letters, or analyses for third parties — including clients, customers, or anyone who compensates you — requires a separate business agreement with us. We may suspend accounts showing commercial-use patterns.

Legacy subscriptions. Subscription plans purchased before September 2026 are no longer offered. If you hold one, it continues under the terms displayed when you purchased it until you cancel it; you may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Certified mail delivery

BillFighter facilitates certified mail delivery through USPS. While we make every effort to ensure successful delivery, we are not responsible for delays, losses, or failures caused by USPS or the recipient.

Tracking information and return receipts are provided as available from USPS. Delivery confirmation timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Intellectual property

The BillFighter platform, including its letter templates, analysis system, and user interface, is the intellectual property of AAA Incubator, LLC. Bill analysis is performed with software from third-party providers, which retain ownership of their underlying models.

Letters generated for your cases are yours to use. You grant us a limited license to process and store your uploaded documents and case data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If you believe content on BillFighter infringes your copyright, our full DMCA Policy — including how to submit a takedown notice and how to reach our Designated Agent — is available at billfighter.com/dmca.

Limitation of liability

BillFighter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our analysis will identify every billing error or that dispute letters will result in a favorable outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BillFighter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of BillFighter shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in activity that harms the service or other users.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all your data — including case records, letters, and analysis results — will be permanently removed.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
